Namgtal Drolma, now 35, became a childcare worker at a Lhasa-based welfare house, in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, in early 2019. Together with other colleagues, she stays by the children's side 24 hours a day, taking only 40 days off each year. What they face every day are trivial yet challenging issues: toddlers soiling their pants, mischievous primary school students, and adolescents going through rebellious puberty.
