India has added a record 44 Gigawatts (GW) of solar power capacity during the last one year, taking the country’s total installed solar capacity beyond 150 GW, the Union Government has informed environment watchdog NatConnect Foundation.

针对纳特康奈克特基金会在地球日向纳伦德拉・莫迪总理提交的诉求信函，印度新能源和可再生能源部表示，政府已推出多项重大举措推广太阳能发展，包括总理太阳能安居计划、印度光伏农场计划、太阳能园区规划，以及面向光伏制造业的生产关联激励计划（PLI）。
Responding to NatConnect Foundation’s Earth Day representation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) said the Government has launched several major programmes to promote solar energy, including PM Surya Ghar, PM-KUSUM, the Solar Park Scheme and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for solar manufacturing.

印度新能源和可再生能源部在官方函件中提及：“印度太阳能装机容量已超150 吉瓦，其中过去一年新增装机就超过44 吉瓦。”
“The country’s solar power capacity has reached more than 150 Gigawatts, out of which more than 44 GW has been installed during the last one year,” the Ministry said in an official communication.

该部门称，此次光伏装机规模扩容，得益于国家太阳能使命及各类可再生能源配套政策的推动。
The Ministry said the expansion was driven by policy initiatives under the National Solar Mission and related renewable energy programmes.

纳特康奈克特基金会主任B・N・库马尔对官方回应表示认可，他评价称，印度此次光伏扩容规模放眼全球也极具分量。
Welcoming the response, NatConnect Foundation Director B N Kumar said India’s latest solar expansion was significant by global standards.
