哈珀最近在學校得了A。但不是那種好成績。
她得了甲型流感。
很可能應該是被同學傳染的。
她已經發燒一週了，病得很厲害。
這導致她錯過了考試後，她期待已久學校的課外活動。
我不明白為什麼有些家長會讓生病的孩子去上學。
天阿！我們說的是小學耶！缺課幾天，甚至錯過一場小考試，又不是世界末日。
我知道，並非所有家長都會同意我的觀點。
難道沒意識到帶病上學只會傳染給其他學生和老師嗎？
如果真的沒辦法至少戴個口罩吧！口罩不僅僅是為了防新冠。
這是基本的衛生禮儀。生活不僅僅是學習和考試。
學校也是學習善待體貼身邊人的地方。
我們能不能努力改掉這種自私的心態呢？

Probably, ‘courtesy’ of a schoolmate.
She has been having a fever for a week and is so sick.
This has resulted in her missing all the fun activities in school after the exams which she was looking forward to.
I don’t know why parents allow their seriously-ill kids to go to school. We are talking about primary school students for goodness sake! Missing a few days or even missing a minor exam will not be the end of the world.
Unfortunately, I know, not all parents will agree with me on this one. You do realise that going to school sick will just make other students and teachers sick as well yah?
At least put on a mask! Masks are not just for covid.
It’s basic health courtesy.
Life isn’t just about academics and exams.
School is also about learning to be kind and mindful of the people around us. Shall we try our best to not have this selfish mentality anymore please?
