On June 8, 2026, Consul General of India in Guangzhou, Mr. Gince Kuruvilla Mattam, visited the Baiyunshan Campus of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), where he met with Prof. Shi Youqi, Chairman of the University Board. The Consul General then engaged in meaningful exchanges with faculty members and students of the Hindi major from the Faculty of Asian and African Studies. During the visit, Prof. Tian Keping introduced the Faculty, and Hindi major students presented cultural performances, showcasing their language skills and enthusiasm for Indian culture.
