The escalating rise of antibiotic-resistant bacterial pathogens poses a critical threat to global public health, which has galvanized the search for alternative antimicrobial agents, including the exploration of the mycochemicals derived from medicinal mushrooms for novel bioactive compounds with potential therapeutic applications. This study mainly investigates the potential antimicrobial properties of extracts from two popular medicinal mushrooms, turkey tail (Trametes versicolor) and reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), against Staphylococcus aureus.
