Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming healthcare systems worldwide. Nurses are at the forefront of patient care and play a critical role in implementing and using AI technologies. Recent literature highlights that AI literacy is becoming a foundational competency in nursing education, with growing calls to embed structured AI training across curricula to ensure workforce readiness. This work synthesizes current evidence on AI-related workplace challenges in healthcare and examines implications for nursing education and practice.
