The 9th time meeting and taking photo with @邓为D
“As I waited for my turn, I became nervous all over again. My heart was racing. My mind went completely blank.
This was already the 9th time we’d met…
So why was I still this nervous?!
When I walked into the room, you looked at me with such warm eyes and the friendliest smile, almost as if you were welcoming an old friend you hadn’t seen in a long time.
We both said, “Hi.”
And just like every other time…I became shy again. My mind went completely empty. I couldn’t think of a single thing to say.
I simply walked over and stood beside you for the photo. Everything happened so quickly. After the photos were taken, we turned to face each other.
I wanted so badly to say something more…
But my brain simply stopped working.
There were a few seconds of awkward silence. I kept telling myself, “If I leave now without saying anything, I’m definitely going to regret it.”Then…
You were the one who broke the silence.
In your calm, gentle voice, you said,
“We are the same.”
