The study of time in mathematical physics has usually proceeded through distinct but related languages: absolute time in classical mechanics, spacetime geometry in relativity, and entropy-based irreversibility in thermodynamics and non-equilibrium theory. Each language is appropriate within its own domain. This work presents Viscous Time Theory (VTT) as a mathematical proposal for modeling temporal response in structured systems. The central proposal is that response delay, transition tendency, and local recovery may depend not only on perturbation amplitude or external control variables, but also on the internal organization of the system.
