近日，印度驻广州总领事馆举办了一场交流活动，总领事马经儒先生与广州本地多家旅行社及旅游运营商代表齐聚一堂，展开深入互动。
Consul General Shri Gince Kuruvilla Mattam interacted with the travel agencies and tour operators based in Guangzhou, at an event hosted by the Consulate. 

活动中，总领事向与会者重点介绍了中印人员往来方面的最新便利举措，尤其是签证政策调整和直航航线开通等最新进展。他详细梳理了当前各类签证的适用范围，并特别提醒大家，务必根据出行目的正确选择签证类别。
Consul General informed the participants about the most recent developments with regard to facilitation of people-to-people exchanges, particularly visa rules and direct air connectivity. He explained various visa categories currently applicable and emphasized the importance of applying under the correct category.

此外，总领事还生动地介绍了印度丰富的旅游资源，热情欢迎更多中国游客前往印度。他强调，旅游在增进两国人民相互了解方面具有重要意义。
Consul General elaborated on the tourism opportunities in India for Chinese travelers and highlighted its importance in furthering mutual understanding.
