“This is so troublesome…”

🦚 mumbled as 🛁 stood in front of him, wide-eyed as two bunny ears stood up from 🦚’s head.

"What happened?" 🛁 asked.

"I accidentally touched a Curio while some subordinate was messing around with work," 🦚 said, his expression flustered as his bunny ears twitched. "I was told it takes around a day for the effects to expire. How unfortunate... I'd rather not walk around with these ears and a tail."

🛁's eyes became wider. "You have a tail?"

"Yes, regretfully."

🦚 sighed, twisting his body around to show the small blonde tail to the dumbfounded 🛁. “It seems like all of these things are only cosmetics though."

"So you haven't felt any urges like craving certain vegetables or chewing on things?"

"Thankfully, no."

🛁 gave a deep murmur as he observed 🦚 and his new animal-like features, feeling more and more intrigued.

“May I touch you? I would like to test something.”

🦚 smiled and nodded. “Sure. Be my guest, Professor.”

🛁 stepped closer, still fixed on the bunny ears that twitched instinctively. Soon, 🛁 raised his hand to place it on 🦚’s head.

“Eh?” 🦚 blinked. “You’re… petting me?”

“It’s only to test,” 🛁 clarified firmly, though awkwardly began to caress 🦚’s head. “Do you feel any different?”

“I’m… not really sure.”

“Hm. May I touch your ears?”

“Sure.”

With 🦚’s permission, 🛁 slowly moved his hands over until he gently touched the bunny ears. Even if it may be cosmetics, 🛁 didn’t want to risk pulling it and harm 🦚 in the process.

Carefully, 🛁 started to massage and pet the ears. “How does this feel? Does this hurt —“

Suddenly, a soft squeak startled 🛁.

🛁’s eyes darted down to 🦚, who had his eyes closed with an expression that looked like he was melting into 🛁’s touch. Meanwhile, 🦚 was also making noises that sounded like a purr and squeaks.

“… 🦚?”

🦚 snapped his eyes wide open in realization, incredibly flustered.

“I — I don’t know what —“ 🦚’s voice quivered as he tried to suppress the strange sounds. But the task was becoming impossible as 🛁 kept massaging his ears. “S—stop doing that!”

“Bunnies make noises similar to yours if they’re content or happy. Especially if they’re being touched like this.”

“N—no! These are purely cosmetics!”

“Then what about the noises you were making? It seems like you liked it.”

The bashful 🦚 hissed at the smug 🛁, quickly shooing 🛁’s hands away from his ears before retreating backwards.

“We do not talk about this ever. Okay, Professor?” 🦚 weakly glared, his face red and hot. “This only stays between me and you.”

🛁 sighed.

“Fine, fine. I won’t mention the noises. But I would still like to test —“

“The tail is off-limits!”
