The 17th Cao Xueqin Culture and Art Festival is held during China's National Day holiday (October 1-7) at the China National Botanical Garden in Beijing. Visitors can dress up as characters from the novel A Dream of Red Mansions and step into the dream world of the book.

国庆假期，在国家植物园举办的第十七届曹雪芹文化艺术季红楼游园会现场热闹非凡，游人纷纷化身“林黛玉”“贾宝玉”等红楼梦中人。游人可在进门处领取一张“顽石卡”，从青埂峰出发，便可立即入“梦”。
