The ancient capital of 13 dynasties knows a thing or two about governance. Luoyang, a historic city in central China's Henan Province, is a fitting stage for the 2026 World Mayors Dialogue. On October 9 and 10, more than 100 guests, including mayors from historic, tourist and partner cities in the UK, Italy, Greece, Belarus, Argentina, Uganda, Algeria and Cambodia, as well as representatives of international organizations and foreign diplomatic envoys to China, will gather in Luoyang to share their governance experience. The bigger aim is to foster international cooperation and the exchange of ideas for sustainable urban development worldwide.
