#这幅英国博物馆藏画藏着宁波龙舟记忆# 美国汉密尔顿学院图书馆，藏有一套约绘于1849年的画册《宁波生活速写》。该画册共含98张彩图，其中34张为宁波地区各类船只的速写，其中有一张画的是龙舟。

画面下的英文注释为“The Dragon boat - used at an annual festival - in commemoration of a search which was once made on a certain lake for a distinguished and good magistrate that had been drowned in it”，意思是“龙舟——用于年度节日，为了纪念搜寻一位在湖泊中淹死的杰出而善良的官员”。
