Today’s thoughts during my run:

1️⃣ Don’t bully yourself.

As Elon Musk once said, “I don’t mind being disliked. The need to be liked is a weakness.”

The more we care about other people’s opinions, the more we end up hurting ourselves. Not everyone will understand you, and that’s okay. Life becomes much lighter when you stop seeking approval from everyone.

2️⃣ Today, a gentleman named Khorolsuren came to see me for an ocular prosthesis.

After examining him, I only made an impression model and advised him to return to his country for corrective surgery before we continue. Years of wearing an improperly fitted prosthetic had caused his lower eyelid to turn inward and made it difficult for his upper eyelid to open properly.

Before leaving, he said something that humbled me deeply:

“YUEMU is benefiting humanity.”

Those words are far bigger than anything I would ever say about myself.

I’m not trying to change the world. I simply want to help the people who trust me.

My work is not for everyone. It is for those who believe in what I do and allow me to be part of their journey.

Khorolsuren, I sincerely hope your surgery goes well. When you return, we will finish creating a beautiful ocular prosthesis together.
