Cao Ran, chief engineer of the CH-7 drone project, has been named one of Beijing’s Role Models for June. He led a young team that developed the strategic unmanned aircraft from concept to maiden flight in just three years, achieving major breakthroughs in key technologies and full domestic production of its hardware and software.

彩虹-7无人机项目负责人曹然获评北京榜样6月月榜。他带领平均33岁的青年团队，历时三年完成这款战略无人机立项到首飞，攻克十余项核心技术，实现系统软硬件全国产化，大幅压缩研发成本。该机综合性能国际领先，可协同有人机执行各类战略任务。同期上榜的还有骑手、高校教师、铁路技术骨干等多位基层榜样。
