Thirty years ago, an encounter with Chinese culture set German sinologist Thomas Taubner on a lifelong journey with China. From studying the works of Chinese writer Lu Xun and composing songs in Chinese to co-founding the China Forum – Galerie T with his wife and organizing study trips for German students to China, Taubner has devoted himself to building people-to-people bridges between the two countries while inspiring young voices along the way.
