#来广州夜游看16米巨型水晶球##广州900年古运河装了巨眼##广东首个超高清球体屏亮相广州# 【16-meter spherical screen to light up ancient canal in Guangzhou [哇][哇]】A giant, luminous "planet" has begun lighting up the night sky along the Fuxu Ancient Canal (扶胥古运河) in Guangzhou's Huangpu district.

The 16-meter-diameter "Golden Fuxu Pearl (金胥明珠)" is the centerpiece of the upcoming cultural tourism project "Fuxu Twelve Hours (扶胥十二时)", which is expected to open for trial operations in October.

Designed by Guangzhou Leafun Culture Science and Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of a listed display firm Leyard Group, the sphere carries a 563-square-meter screen. It is Guangdong's first outdoor ultra-HD spherical screen and a work of public art that stands out along the canal. The project aims to revitalize the thousand-year-old waterway of the Maritime Silk Road by integrating visual technology with local heritage.
