Through discussions and cultural activities, they are exploring global issues and building connections across borders.
At the Guangzhou Nansha International Conference Center, young people from different cultures are sharing ideas on topics including global development, public health and commerce.
Beyond academic discussions, culture has become a bridge connecting people from different backgrounds.
Russian student Ekaterina Dobrodeeva "This is like the modern version of the kokoshnik. Yeah, also as well, we brought some matryoshkas to the conference. It's one of the main Russian symbols."
The event also offered a chance to experience Chinese culture firsthand.
It's Ekaterina's first trip to China. With the help of Chinese friends, she made her first Chinese knot.
In recent years, China's visa-free policies have boosted such exchanges.
Organizers say the growth of international exchange programs reflects increasing interest among young people in learning about China and connecting with the world.
