新款OLED MacBook Pro面板的背板没有采用LTPS或者LTPO方案，转而使用高迁移率氧化物技术。

三星A6工厂是业内首座量产高迁移率氧化物面板的产线，而且所使用的玻璃基板尺寸，现阶段也要大于LTPS、LTPO产线的基板规格。

还有一个值得关注的技术细节，供应这款MacBook Pro的三星OLED面板，是行业首次在8.6代产线上采用精细金属掩膜版（FMM）完成OLED像素蒸镀。

OLED电视与显示器产品普遍使用开放式掩膜工艺，而在此之前，精细金属掩膜版仅在6代产线中投入使用。

The new OLED MacBook Pro’s do not use LTPS or LTPO for the backplane. Instead, they use high mobility oxide.

Samsung’s A6 fab is the industry’s first high mobility oxide fab and it is made on a larger substrate than LTPS and LTPO fabs for now.

Another interesting tidbit about the Samsung OLED in the Apple MacBook Pro, it represents the first time any company has patterned an OLED at G8.6 using fine metal masks (FMMs).
