Iran’s UN ambassador in New York wrote in a message posted on the virtual network X: The US president is once again openly threatening to destroy the infrastructure essential to the survival of civilians in Iran.
Referring to Trump’s message that “Tuesday will be the day of the straw and the day of the bridge. Everyone is gathered in one place, there will never be another like it!!!” he wrote: If the conscience of the UN had been awakened, it would not have remained silent in the face of the open and shameless threat of the warmongering US president to target civilian infrastructure. Trump seeks to drag the region into an endless war.
An Iranian ambassador stated: This is a direct and open incitement to create terror among civilians and clear evidence of the intention to commit a war crime. The international community and all countries have legal obligations to prevent the heinous acts of war crimes from occurring. They must act now. Tomorrow is too late.
