Africa CDC acknowledges the recent travel restrictions in response to the Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda.

While protecting public health is vital, our actions must be guided by science, collaboration, and transparency. Broad travel bans can disrupt lives and economies.

Africa CDC remains fully engaged with affected Member States to contain the outbreak.
